Canon Andrew Presland

Trustee

Andrew lives in Rushden, Northamptonshire, is single. He has been a Statistician in the civil service for just over thirty years, and is currently responsible for planning application and land use statistics.

He is also an active member of the Church of England in Peterborough Diocese, being Diocesan Lay Chair, a lay canon of the Cathedral and one of its lay representatives on General Synod.

He is also actively involved in his local deanery and parish, where he runs a walking group and is a trustee of Encompass, which runs a night shelter, recovery house for people with addictions, and a food bank.

When time permits, he keeps an eye on the hectare of woodland that he is growing – learning very much as he goes along – and researches local and family history.
