FdA in Community Based Pioneer Ministry

PioneeringThis foundation degree, offered through a partnership with the Centre for Pioneer Learning, will equip you to pioneer in a wide variety of contexts developing new forms of Christian community informed by and informing quality theological teaching.

Students will be based in a range of ministry contexts, predominantly churches and community projects. It is designed for individuals from a variety of backgrounds who wish to explore their vocation, develop their ministry skills and gain a qualification which reflects their practical experience.

It is ideally suited for those who want to be active in Pioneer Ministry whilst developing the skills and insights that will support their work. Delivered at Ridley Hall on 16 Fridays across the year, you will have the opportunity to hear from leading figures within the field before applying what you have learnt within your context with the support of others.  Accordingly you will be spend approximately 16 hours a week (minimum of a 11 hours a week during term time) in a pioneer context.
