MA Degrees at CYM
CYM offers two routes for postgraduate study, both Masters degrees:
Professional Practice & Practical Theology
MA in Professional Practice and Practical Theology
This is a distance learning programme structured around two semesters each year (Sept-March and March-Sept), each launched with a study block. Students may select either their own specialist modules, or opt for a named specialism in Chaplaincy, Spirituality and Well Being or Leadership and Mission.
This course is for experienced practitioners, who wish to reflect theologically on their experiences and develop their knowledge and skills for practice.

Youth and Community Work & Practical Theology (JNC)
MA in Youth and Community Work and Practical Theology (JNC)
This is a distance learning programme structured around two semesters each year (Sept-March and March-Sept), each launched with a study block. This is for those in employment already, but seeking professional accreditation (JNC) and those with undergraduate qualifications in theology who wish to enhance their understanding of youth work practice and develop their leadership and management skills.
