The theme for this year’s Faith in Business conference left me reflecting on my time spent in the civil engineering and construction industry as Contracts and Project Manager. Few people will disagree that the construction sector in its entirety can be an extremely tough and demanding work place. This intensifies if you are a Christian, trying to imitate the loving, graceful servant nature of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Taking as its starting point Eve Poole's book Capitalism's Toxic Assumptions, the day was an opportunity for business people, policy makers, and ordinands to discuss how to redeem capitalism. Over 30 people attended.
