The Centre for Youth Ministry:
BA in Schools Work and Practical Theology
This degree will equip you to work in Christian Youth Work and Ministry, and to be able to work within Secondary and Post-16 educational settings.
Students on this course spend two days per fortnight in lectures at Ridley Hall. In addition, they spend between 11 and 20 hours per week undertaking work with young people aged between 13 and 19 in an informal educative context. At least three hours of which will be in a school environment. Students will also spend time reflecting on their practice in small peer groups and individually with a Professional Practice Tutor.
