Jo Griffiths
Jo is Regional Centre Director. She has been involved in youth ministry for twenty years, with considerable experience in Christian and secular Youth Work. Previously she has worked in churches in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland and also as a youth worker and locality manager for Essex County Council Youth Service. Jo has considerable experience in working with marginalised young people and has managed Exchange Trips between young people in England and South Africa. With an MA in Youth and Community Studies, Jo is at present working towards a PhD in the professional identity formation of newly qualified Christian youth workers.
Robin Barden
Robin is Assistant Centre Director at Cambridge CYM. He has over twenty years experience in youth and community work within both church and non-churched contexts. Robin has a first class honors degree in Youth & Community Work and Applied Theology from Oxford Brookes, and is JNC qualified. Robin is also an experienced Social Work Practice Teacher and Prison Drugs Worker. Following postgraduate training in Social Work Practice Teaching and Oral Life History Research, Robin completed an MA in Philosophy and Religion with Heythrop College (University of London).
Robin's ongoing research focuses on the interaction between faith, secularization, realism and morality, with a specific interest in the writings of Charles Taylor.
Fiona Bell-Williamson
Fiona works part-time as the CYM administrator. She has previously worked for Christian Aid for a number of years and has an MA in African Studies. In her spare time (when she has some!) she enjoys walking and gardening. She has an allotment and has recently completed some Royal Horticultural Society exams. Fiona is married to John and they have a seven-year-old daughter (and two cats).
