The Centre for Youth Ministry:
BA in Youth & Community Work and Practical Theology
This dynamic and challenging course combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills and theological reflection. Successful graduates will be skilled and equipped to work in Christian youth ministry and a wide range of general youth work settings.
Students on this course spend two days per fortnight in lectures at Ridley Hall. In addition, they spend between 11 and 20 hours per week undertaking work with young people aged between 13 and 19 in an informal educative context. Students will also spend time reflecting on their practice in small peer groups and individually with a Professional Practice Tutor.
