Moule Memorial Speaker Announced

The date and speaker for the 2016 C.F.D. Moule Memorial Lecture has been announced.

We are delighted to be welcoming the Most Revd Dr Mouneer Anis back to Ridley to speak on the relationship of Christians and Muslims in Egypt.  The Moule Memorial Lecture will be held on June 8th 2016 and further details will be posted on the website nearer the time.

Bishop Mouneer

Bishop Mouneer is Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa, and Primate of the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East.  He first came to Ridley in 2004 when he served as a translator for Sheikh Farsi who was with us for a week seeking to learn more about the Christian faith. Mouneer and his wife Nancy were resident guests at Ridley in the Michaelmas term of 2006 and they hosted a visit of staff and students in a trip to the cathedral in Cairo and to the Alexandria School of Theology in April 2007.
