Kate Nix 1961-2015

It is with deep sadness, that on behalf of Kate’s family we share the news of her untimely death on Thursday 12 March.   She had been living with the knowledge that she had an incurable sarcoma for 18 months, and despite chemotherapy and tough treatment, she maintained a positive spirit and “carried on as normal, as far as that was possible”.

Our Moule Memorial Lecture this year will be given by Revd Dr Christopher J H Wright, an alumnus of Ridley and the International Ministries Director of Langham Partnership International.  His lecture is entitled “Declare his glory among the nations: Reading the Old Testament for Mission”.

Revd Anders Litzell, who arrived to train at Ridley from his home country of Sweden via London Diocese in 2010, has been appointed the first prior of a new community being formed by the Archbishop of Canterbury at Lambeth Palace.

The annual Ridley Prayer Weekend is a cross between a retreat and a parish weekend, for all First Year students and their spouses. It provides sessions on different aspects of prayer, with plenty of time for prayer and fellowship in between.
