Certificate in Christian Theology (CertHE)

A one-year, full- or part-time introductory-level course taught by CTF tutorial staff, appropriate for lay students and for ordinands studying for one year.

Foundation Degree Award in Christian Theology (FdA)

A two-year, full- or part-time course, awarded by Anglia Ruskin University
(ARU) and taught by CTF tutorial staff, appropriate for lay students and for ordinands. Those who have completed the equivalent of the Certificate elsewhere (one year of theological education) should be able to enter at a second year level and complete the Award in one year.

BA in Christian Theology (BA in CT)

A two or three-year, full-time course, awarded by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and taught by CTF tutorial staff, appropriate for lay persons and ordinands who want a vocational degree in theology

Bachelor of Theology (BTh)

A two or three-year, full-time course, awarded by Cambridge University and taught by CTF tutorial staff, appropriate for lay persons and ordinands who want a vocational degree in theology. Candidates without a prior degree need at least 2 'A's at A Level for admission to the BTh. Those with a previous degree normally need at least a 2:1.

Bachelor of Arts in Theology (BA)

A two-year, full-time course, awarded by Cambridge University and taught by the Divinity Faculty, appropriate for ordinands who want a more academic focus and who have completed a previous degree in another subject with at least a 2:1 result

MA in Pastoral Theology

One-year full-time (or longer part-time) postgraduate awards, given by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and taught by the CTF tutorial staff for ordinands with at least two years of previous theological study

MPhil

A one-year full-time (or longer, part-time) degree, awarded by Cambridge University and taught by the Divinity Faculty, appropriate for ordinands who are theological graduates and have the backing of Ministry Division.

PhD

A three-year full-time (or longer, part-time) research degree, awarded by Cambridge University, appropriate for ordinands who are theological graduates and have the backing of Ministry Division

In addition, under certain conditions an ordinand may undertake, as part of his or her training, an MPhil or PhD at an institution other than Cambridge University (e.g. St Andrews' University or Kings College, London)
