Courses for independent students

Architectural detailWe have a small number of places for those who are not training for ordination in the Church of England but want to engage in theological study for non-ordained ministry within a vibrant community. We normally require that independent students use their study in order to prepare for some form of recognised lay ministry in the Anglican Church.

There are one-year, two-year and three-year courses available, and they include options to study part-time. Please note that Ridley Hall, as an affiliated college of the University of Cambridge, is not able to matriculate students for a University of Cambridge degree. Candidates wishing to apply for the Tripos (BA), the MPhil or the PhD need to apply directly to the University of Cambridge.
