Part-time courses for independent students

In common with other Anglican theological colleges we offer the new Common Awards in Theology, Ministry and Mission validated by Durham University. These courses are offered alongside the Cambridge University options.

CertHE (Common Awards)

Preparing all-age EucharistThis can be completed part-time over a number of years. It is an  introductory-level course taught by Federation tutorial staff. It provides a creative mix of theology and application and is awarded by Durham University.

DipHE (Common Awards)

This can be completed part-time over a number of years. It is awarded by Durham University and taught by Federation tutorial staff. This is a ‘vocational’ foundation degree in Christian theology offering a blend of theory and practice. This can also be topped up to an Honours BA degree on the completion of further modules.

Masters Degree (MA)

This can be completed part-time over two years. We offer an MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission, awarded by Durham University (DU) and it is taught by the Federation tutorial staff. This option is most suitable for candidates with at least two years of previous theological study.
