Three-year Ministerial Theology Courses:
Bachelor of Arts in Christian Theology (BA)
A three-year course awarded by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and taught by Federation tutorial staff. This is a full vocational degree in Christian theology which leads to ordination. It offers opportunities for independent study, particularly in the second and third years.

Three Year Bachelor of Theology (BTh)
A three-year course, awarded by the University of Cambridge and taught by Federation tutorial staff. This is a vocational degree for Christian ministry leading to ordination. It combines more demanding theological and practical study. Candidates without a prior degree need at least 2 'A's at A Level for admission to the BTh. Those with a previous degree need at least a high 2:1.

Bachelor of Arts in Theological and Religious Studies (BA Tripos) combined with a Certificate in Theology for Ministry (CTM)
The Tripos degree is a two-year, full-time course awarded by the University of Cambridge and taught by the Divinity Faculty. It is appropriate for ordinands who want a more academic focus and who have completed a previous degree in another subject with at least a high 2:1 result. It promotes learning through rigorous individual study and small group supervisions. Once completed, it is followed by the CTM, a one-year course, awarded by the University of Cambridge and taught by Federation tutorial staff which covers the ordination requirements for a theology graduate.
