Ridley alumni

At Ridley we think often of our alumni and regularly pray for them. Those who have prepared for Christian leadership with us can now be found serving in rural, suburban and inner-city churches in the United Kingdom and across the globe.

A significant number of Ridley alumni occupy senior leadership positions in the church and as such, are in a wonderful position to facilitate mission and to encourage the next generation of Christian leaders.

Ridley alumni are also to be found as chaplains in hospitals, prisons, schools and the armed services (see Matt's Story below), and as pioneers, youth, children and families workers, mission enablers and church planters.

We are grateful for all that God is doing in and through those who have studied with us. We love to see them whenever they are able to visit and to be encouraged by their stories of God's faithfulness!

Alumni events

Alumni events

Alumni stay engaged with the current community at Ridley Hall through a number of formal and informal avenues. Friendships forged during training often last a lifetime, and group get-togethers are often organised informally by alumni themselves.

More formally, all our alumni are invited back to college in June each year for the reunion that has affectionately become known as Moule Day – a day of fellowship and worship around the annual C.F.D. Moule Memorial Lecture.

To ensure that we have your current contact information and that you are signed up to receive updates on alumni events, please update your contact details here.

Matt's story

"Captain Matt Coles is the padre attached to 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment.

He doesn't have to complete the same physical challenges as the paratroopers – but he's chosen to in order to walk a mile in the boots of the men he ministers to.

Julie Knox followed Rev Matt's journey over four years, from leaving his country parish church to earning acceptance in the Parachute Regiment."
