Liz Adekunle gives College Lecture
On 19 October Liz Adekunle gave the first of our two Michaelmas term College Lectures.
She spoke passionately about the call to the Church to be active in seeking out need. She encouraged Ridley ordinands to share the love of God in Christ by addressing need wherever it is found.
Liz is currently the Archdeacon of Hackney and has recently become a Chaplain to the Queen. She is Ridley alumnus (2005-07) and a PhD candidate at St John’s College, Cambridge.
Liz is one of a growing number of ‘Ridley Associates’, which means that she has committed to pray for the Ridley community and to teach and preach regularly. Other associates include the Revd Anders Litzell, the first Prior of the St Anselm Community, based at Lambeth Palace, and the Revd Jane Keiller, a former Chaplain of Ridley Hall.
On 23 November Bishop Jo Bailey Wells will give the second of our Michaelmas Term College Lectures.
