If you work or volunteer for your church and long to grow in your faith, Ridley Online is designed for you – a flexible online course with a specific focus on serving God through your work with children and young people.
You can choose the level of qualification that suits your circumstances: we offer both the Foundation Award (three modules spread across one year) and the Certificate in Higher Education in Theology, Ministry and Mission (six modules taught across one, two or three years).

Studying with Ridley Online
As a Ridley Online student, you’ll join Monday evening zoom classes with leading practitioners and scholars online during term time, and undertake guided tasks in your own time during the week.
Alongside the online training, you’ll be able to meet with an experienced tutor once a month, who will support you to get the most out of the course.
The Foundation Award
The Foundation Award enables those new to ministry to experience theological and ministerial study for the first time in an accessible and supportive environment.
Delivered across three modules, the typical commitment is one module per term, making it the most accessible course we offer in terms of time commitment and flexibility of study.
The Certificate in Higher Education
If you have a busy life, the online Cert HE will provide the theological and ministerial foundation you need to grow in your Christian calling. It is suitable for volunteers or those starting out in full-time ministry.
Successful completion of the course not only gives you the CertHE in Theology, Ministry and Mission, but also the chance to progress onto the full BA degree, taught onsite at our Cambridge campus.
Funding your study
The CertHE with Ridley Online is a qualifying course for Student Finance England, and there are other funding options potentially available to you. Book now onto our online open day, and we’ll be very happy to discuss funding routes for your particular circumstances.
