A retreat day for youth, children’s and sports ministers
3rd May 2023, 9am to 6pm at Ridley Hall, Cambridge
All will agree that the last few years have been exhausting and challenging. At Ridley, we’ve seen incredible youth, children & family, and sports ministers weather these storms with creativity, hope, faithfulness and grit. We still believe that these ministries are incredibly vital (and still might be the best jobs in the world), but they’ve taken a lot.
That’s why Ridley Hall and Ely Diocese have partnered together to put on a retreat day for all the people we know and want to encourage along in these ministries. You might agree that our name for the day, ‘And breathe…’ sums it up!
We want this day to be a space to remember whose we are and as we worship the One who made us, calls us, and continues to give us hope for the future that we want to share with these precious younger generations. We want to gather together as a tribe, remembering that we might be spending our life in utterly crazy jobs, but we’re in good company! We want to feed you good food over the day.
We will gather in worship and prayer, and take time to hear some good wisdom from experts in ministry.
