Ridley Hall are delighted to announce the appointment of Becca Dean as Tutor in Youth Ministry. Becca will join the dynamic team delivering our Lay Ministry programme in September and will focus on teaching during our residential block weeks.

Becca has a background in youth ministry, having worked and trained in variety of church contexts around the UK. Her current doctoral research with Durham University is exploring intergenerational dialogue as a means for church communities to better listen to and include young people.

She is passionate about the role of young people in church regeneration. Her other interests include young people's spirituality, and her first book Be Live Pray was written to encourage young people to explore their prayer life in more accessible and creative ways.

The Principal of Ridley Hall, Michael Volland, said, "I am really excited that Becca has agreed to come and serve God here at Ridley. She brings significant experience of the practice of youth ministry alongside deep theological wisdom and academic ability.

"Becca is an able communicator and her contribution to Ridley’s teaching will be very significant. She joins the team at a time when the College is pursuing an energetic vision for training and formation focused on building up the whole Church and when student numbers are growing. She will be a great blessing to the community at Ridley and to our partner churches and organisations."

Please pray for Becca as she prepares to move from Durham to Cambridge and take up her new role.
