When the lockdown began, I felt a prod to begin recording something I'd been doing for a while in my own time: reading the Psalms rhythmically to the Chillhop Music I enjoy listening to.

"I was excited to experiment with producing a creative liturgical resource for others to use ... I hope the Psalm here blesses you."
Kiran Lotay

I'm a spoken word poet, and the Psalms often lend themselves to being read in this style. Creating things is good for me, so it was partly a way to enable me to stay centred in the midst of all the anxiety in the air at the moment, but I was also excited to experiment with producing a creative liturgical resource for others to use.

I know that some Ridley students have been using the Psalms I've recorded in their morning devotions, and I sometimes use them as well, because a playlist of Psalms is not a bad thing to have as the soundtrack of life. I hope the Psalm here blesses you, the full list of what I've recorded so far can be found here.
