Paul Weston in Duke and Nashville
Paul Weston, our tutor of mission studies and homiletics, has recently come back from a successful visit to America over the Easter.
One of the most important links between Ridley and America are the fact our tutors regularly go abroad to teach and lecture, sharing their theological learning widely.
Over the Easter vacation it was the turn of Dr Paul Weston, tutor of mission and homiletics at the College. He is also on the Editorial Board of the newly launched Journal of Missional Practice, an initiative based around the practice and theological understanding of mission. On this particular trip, his focus was as a teacher. After spending time teaching at Duke Divinity School in Durham, where he also preached at a Eucharist planned with the Anglican Episcopal House of Studies, he acted as the Theologian in Residence at St George’s, Nashville, for eight days. Here, he gave talks and lectures on the Gospel and Culture in the West.
If your Church would like to be interested in contacting Ridleians whilst they are in the neighbourhood, or inquiring about the availability of our theological staff, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
