The privilege of good work

There are few blessings in life as good as working for something you really believe in.

In October of last year I joined the team at Ridley Hall in Cambridge as the Development Manager, and since then I have had the privilege of working with wonderful colleagues, ordinands, and students, and playing my part in realising the amazing potential that Ridley Hall has to serve the church.

We’re all aware of the challenges that the world faces right now, but God continues to be our refuge and strength, and also our hope, not just in trouble, but in new opportunities as we work out our calling together.

We look forward to the future with confidence, and we have good reason to be hopeful! Ridley Hall is well positioned to fulfil its mission to prepare leaders for the church. We are doing this by drawing on the best of our traditions, and looking at new and innovative ways to train and form the people Gods sends us, both for lay ministry and the priesthood.

If you support us financially or in prayer, thank you! We really do value your companionship in the work we are doing. Your sacrifice is enabling us to fulfil our role in God’s plans, and to invest in our future calling.

In partnership with you, we can provide our students and ordinands with expert teaching, inspirational context-based placements, spiritual support and guidance, and the resources they need to fulfil their calling in the world. There are tremendous opportunities for us ahead, and I feel privileged to be part of the adventure here at Ridley Hall. This is good work, and I am glad to be doing it.

You can keep up to date with the latest news from Ridley Hall on our website, or if you would like to be on our mailing list for postal or digital newsletters, do drop me a line or give me a call.
