The official launch of the Newbigin Centre for Gospel and Western Culture took place on July 16th as part of the second annual 'Lesslie Newbigin Summer Institute'.
We were delighted to hear this week of the Revd Liz Adekunle's appointment as the new Archdeacon of Hackney.
This year’s Moule Day was a little different. Instead of hosting it within the grounds of Ridley Hall, we were able to use the Lady Mitchell Hall on the Sidgwick Site of the University of Cambridge which allowed us to invite many more people.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Revd Dr Michael Volland as Director of Context-based Training. His responsibilities will span the training of all Ridley ordinands and iCYM students, as well as the teaching of other Federation students. He will also be working with dioceses and partner agencies in the development of our contextual training. He will move to Cambridge with his family at the end of August.

It is with deep sadness, that on behalf of Kate’s family we share the news of her untimely death on Thursday 12 March. She had been living with the knowledge that she had an incurable sarcoma for 18 months, and despite chemotherapy and tough treatment, she maintained a positive spirit and “carried on as normal, as far as that was possible”.
