Janine is part of the Academic Team and Formation Hub involving a wide variety of administrative tasks for both academic and formation aspects of ordained and lay ministry training. She has worked in Ridley for over twenty five years.

Janine lives in a village near Cambridge where she is actively involved in the local church – she regularly leads worship and has helped to set up a Saturday morning prayer group at the village café. She loves meeting friends for coffee at the village café, being part of her book group, restoring her childhood dolls' house, crocheting, entertaining and supporting Dalscone Farm in Dumfries.

After training as a nurse in Edinburgh Janine moved to Cambridge and worked at Addenbrooke's. She has worked in retail and run a couple of businesses.

Janine is fiercely proud of her Scottish roots, has a beautiful rescue cat called Eilidh, loves Highland Cows and faithfully supports the Scotland rugby team. Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Jack Vettriano, John Lowrie Morrison and Steve Brown are Scottish artists whose works inspire Janine.
