Role at Ridley:

Accounts Assistant

After studying Accounts and Auditor at a private University in Mexico (ITESM), I worked in the accounts department in a family business for several years. Looking for more independency, I then joined the executive team of ‘Banco International’, now part of HSBC.

Catalina BrumannIn the following years, I moved with my family to Germany, Denmark and the UK and had a career break for to raise my two children, learn other languages and adapt to living in Europe.  On arriving in the UK in 1997, I began preparing to continue with my career in finance. After several years I joined a team of people supporting the European Finance Service centre of an American company near Cambridge and a few years later I started working principally in the finance departments of Cambridge University colleges.

I really feel very happy working at Ridley, as it is such a strong community were people makes you feel a member of that community and you breathe peace in the building.

In my role as Accounts Assistant I support the Finance Manager at Ridley in the day-to-day requirements, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash management and other finance related areas.
