The application process

There are four steps to applying for study at Ridley

  1. Making contact
  2. An initial conversation
  3. An interview
  4. An offer letter

Making contact

Making contact

In the first instance, please complete and return an Independent Student Application Form (Word doc), to: study@ridley.cam.ac.uk. This will help us focus our initial conversation.

Once we have received your application form, we will arrange to contact you by your preferred method of communication, at a time that is convenient to you.

The initial conversation

The initial conversation

The initial conversation is a chance for us to answer any questions you may have, and advise on possible study routes.

If we think our courses are a good fit for you we will invite you to interview.

The interview is the next step in the application process.

Please note: Students apply directly to Ridley Hall (not through UCAS).

The interview

The interview

When we invite you to interview we will give further details regarding the interview day. We appreciate interviews can feel stressful and we will do all we can to put you at ease and see you at your best.

The interview is a chance for you to tell us about:

  1. your calling to ministry
  2. your ministerial experience
  3. your academic history

The dress code is smart casual.

We will let you know the outcome of your interview within two weeks.

The offer letter

The offer letter

If you are successful we will send you an offer letter, within two to three weeks after the interview. The offer may be conditional on references, or other information being received by Ridley.

The final step is for you to accept the offer. Once we have received confirmation of your acceptance you will be enrolled on the course of your choice and we will send you all the information you need for your first day of study with Ridley.
