Housekeeping Assistant (Summer Vacancy)

Ridley Hall is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant to join our team during the busy summer period. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our accommodation and shared spaces are clean, comfortable and welcoming for students, guests and conference visitors.

About the role

• Cleaning student rooms, guest accommodation and shared areas
• Preparing and servicing guest bedrooms
• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and communal spaces
• Supporting the team to maintain high standards across the site

About you

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential as training will be given)
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• A positive team player with a flexible approach
• Good awareness of hygiene and safety practices

Working pattern

20 hours per week, typically 7:30am–12:30pm on a rota

Some flexibility and additional hours available during busy periods
