Ridley Hall Theological College, Cambridge, gives thanks for the life and ministry of Canon Dr Robert Crossley, whose recent passing marks the loss of a deeply significant figure in the life of our College and the wider Cambridge Theological Federation.
Robert served faithfully as Chaplain to Ridley Hall and was instrumental in the formation and flourishing of the Cambridge Theological Federation.
Robert was not only a wise and gentle presence, but also an inspirational and pastoral guide to many. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched as a chaplain, priest, mentor, colleague, friend and as a celebrant at weddings and godfather to children.
We give thanks for his life and ministry, and we remember him with deep gratitude. We extend our prayers to all who mourn his loss, especially his family, friends, and the communities he served so faithfully.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
