On his appointment, Mark Sheard says, 'I feel enormously privileged to be asked to take on this role. Ridley has a wonderful heritage of faithfully forming great leaders for the Church; in these times of change for the TEI sector it is exciting to see that Ridley has a clear vision for the future focussed on building on that heritage and embracing the opportunities to flourish which lie ahead of it. I am delighted to be able to play a part in realising that vision.'
