• Ordinands typically spend 2-3 days per week in practical learning with a local supervisor.

• All ordinands receive training in contextual forms of mission and the implementation of mixed ecology.
• Specialised training and experience are provided for those called to pioneer ministry.
• Pioneer ordinands at Ridley:
       
       Undertake a placement in a pioneer church plant or mixed ecology setting.
  
       Gain experience and insight into one specific context.
  
       Receive supervision from a clergy practitioner.

• In college, pioneer ordinands:
       
       Participate in common teaching relevant to all ordinands.
  
       Engage in a dedicated stream for pioneer-relevant teaching.
  
       Form a learning community to share and learn from the perspectives and      experiences of others.
