We were delighted to see the Catalyst 2025 cohort celebrated recently in the Chelmsford Diocese newsletter. In January, over 100 children’s and youth ministers gathered for the Catalyst residential in Swanwick, Derbyshire - a weekend of teaching, worship, reflection, and encouragement with others serving young people across the country.
Participants spoke warmly about the experience. Alison described it as “a weekend full of prayer and worship… a unique time to be with like-minded people,” while others highlighted the meaningful conversations, practical tools for ministry, and the joy of learning together.
Catalyst is a six-month programme designed to equip both volunteers and paid workers involved in children’s and youth ministry. you can find out more about it here
