Ridley Hall are excited to announce that Revd Dr Deborah Davies will be joining the team as the new Tutor in Mission and Pioneer Ministry.

Deborah Davies is currently on the staff team at Liverpool Cathedral where she works in Mission and Faith Development. Deborah says, 'one of the joys of this ministry has been planting a catholic-charismatic worship community at the cathedral, which meets on Sunday evenings. It has been a privilege to see people come to faith and grow in their love for Jesus and the sacraments. Before ordained ministry I served as a worship pastor in the HTB network and music is still plays a big role in my life. I am looking forward to joining the Ridley community and journeying with students as they step out in faith to follow God’s call.'

Principal Isabelle Hamley says: 'Mission for the 21st century church is a key strand of the curriculum and DNA of Ridley Hall. Deborah will bring great experience of working with new missional communities in creative ways, and we look forward to the ways in which she will help our students grow in their understanding and practice of sharing the good news of God's love in a changing and complex world.'

The Dean of Liverpool commented: “It has been a joy to work with Debs over the past two and a half years and to see her flourish in her ministry. Like any good community, we now release her with our love and best wishes as she embarks on this next stage at Ridley Hall, Theological College.”

Here at Ridley we will be thrilled to welcome Deborah in the new year and work with her to help our community of students and staff grow in their love and practice of mission.
