The Revd Dr Christie Gilfeather

The Revd Dr Christie Gilfeather is priest in the diocese of St Albans, currently serving a curacy in rural Hertfordshire. She trained for ministry at Ridley Hall and completed her doctoral work in the area of Hebrew Bible, researching the figure of the widow. Alongside teaching biblical studies modules for different theological colleges, she also writes regularly about the texts coming up in the lectionary and organises study mornings and retreats focusing on Old Testament texts. She is passionate about equipping everyone the church to read and understand the Bible. It is a joy for her to commit to praying for Ridley and remaining part of the life of the college as an associate after 5 happy years in training.
